FUNERAL DIRECTOR
My name is Jodi. I graduated from Tower Soudan High School back in 1993. My last name has ties to other names of Mattson, Pernu, Salo, and even Anderson. Like many others raised on the Range, I have moved away. I've had a few adventures, have some awesome stories and friends and family always seem to bring me back. I love adventure and I love helping others.
My husband Mike works for Aldi's. We have four nearly grown children. Our oldest works with me at the funeral home. Our boy just graduated as an electrician. Our two youngest are still in middle and high school.
Funeral service is changing. Please allow us to educate and serve you through what will be every one of our lives' journey. Death is inevitable. Life should be happy, on your terms, even while we honor and bury our dead. We are friends helping friends.
RECEPTIONIST\TRANSFER CARE SPECIALIST
I was born in Virginia, MN. My family and I moved to Southwest Florida a while back. Got to grow up near the beach. I graduated from Ida S. Baker High School in May of 2022. Decided to come back to Minnesota, and spend time with family. I joined Range Funeral Home in Virginia as a receptionist/funeral assistant in 2023.
INTERN FUNERAL DIRECTOR
Lee is currently the Intern Funeral Director with Range Funeral Home, where he is learning and assisting with all aspects of the funeral service world.
He is originally from the Twin Cities metro area, but has moved to Virginia, MN after graduating from the Mortuary Science program at the University of Minnesota in the Twin Cities.
DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS
Michael comes to us from a background of management within multiple federal agencies. His focus is to ensure we can provide the most professional and caring environment for our customers. His goal is to show that we can make a difference in your families lives when you need it the most. His family relocated from Ely, to the Virginia area. They live, and are active within the schools and sports programs here - especially hockey - and now call Virginia home.
