William W. Allen

William Wayne Allen, age 82, passed away peacefully in his sleep at home in Virginia, MN on Monday, September 25, 2023.

He was born on April 7, 1941 in Florenton to Veikko and Helen (Teppo) Allen. Bill was a graduate of Virginia High School in 1959.

Bill was a Navy from 1959-1963. He married Judi Hietala in 1966. He graduated from Mesabi College in 1975 with a degree in General Studies. He graduated from Northwestern Chiropractic College and he practiced in Virginia, Colorado, and California.

In 2019, after 35 years in California, Bill and Judi moved back to Virginia to be with family and friends on the Range. Bill loved getting together with his Classmates. Bill was proud of being Finnish- it was his first language. He loved watching sports, especially the Kansas City Chiefs. He is known for his love of food, but especially his ability to make chile!!

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Gerry. He dearly loved his sister Peggy (Allen) Parise; brothers Ken Allen, John Allen; and all his beloved nieces and nephews.

How does Bill want us to celebrate his life since he has requested no funeral? Just remember him when you get together. He had a full life well lived, he will be missed!
