Russell Allen Erjavec

Russell "Rusty" Allen Erjavec, 60, of Eveleth, passed away Saturday, December 9, 2017 at his residence. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Range Funeral Home in Virginia at 1:00 pm with visitation beginning at 11:00 am. Pastor Steve Weston will officiate. Russell Allen Erjavec was born February 14, 1957 in Eveleth to Anton and Donna (Anderson) Erjavec. He attended Cotton High School. Rusty worked construction and was a member of the Sheet Metal Local #10 and also the Millwright Local #1348.
Rusty enjoyed tinkering with everything, sawing lumber on his sawmill, loading and hauling gravel and digging with his excavator. He also enjoyed sitting in his deer stand with all the comforts of home, sometimes just to watch the deer. He loved to have his granddaughters come work on projects in his mancave. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Anton Erjavec; mother, Donna and step-father, Al Schwanz; and sister, Susan Clasen
