Rob Olson, a loyal father, best friend, and brother full of his resilient spirit, passed away on December 15, 2025, at the age of 47.
He is survived by his daughter, Jana Hays (23); his son, Zachery Hays (21); his granddaughter, Jennie Myers; his partner, Tracy Buck; his sister, Tina Olson; and brother-in-law, Jim Harjamaki.
Rob's unwavering dedication to his family and friends was a highlight to his world. Especially when it included outdoors and food.
Known for his stubborn determination against life’s challenges and unshakeable loyalty, Rob faced diabetes head-on. He never stopped earning the respect and love of many. His appreciation for others and kind heart will be deeply missed.
A celebration of Rob's life will be on his birthday on Sunday, February 15, 2026, from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at 3230 Seventh Ave E - Hibbing, MN 55746.
