Robert "Bob" Brenton Obituary

Robert "Bob" William Brenton, age 63, of Virginia, Minnesota passed away in the early hours of October 23rd, 2024 at Essentia Health Hospital in Virginia, Minnesota due to complications of underlying health issues.

Bob was born to Walter Brenton and Sharon Spurling on September 20th, 1961, in Everett, Washington.

In 1991 Bob moved to Minnesota and made the Iron Range his home. He was a dedicated foreman with 'McGregor House Movers' for over 25 years. Outside of work you could find him immersed in one of his many hobbies. He enjoyed collecting everything from tools and coins to old cars and music memorabilia. Bob was passionate about art and music, you could almost feel his soul through his drawings. He marched to the beat of his own drum and no table or dashboard were safe when Bob was around, the world was his drum set.

Bob was the kind of guy who saw potential in everything. You would never catch him with new/fancy items, he would rather repair the old than buy a new. He appreciated the little things in life and didn't take anything for granted.

Bob is survived in death by his daughter, Molly Brenton; fur-baby/best friend, "Mucky"; mother, Sharon; three sisters: Lori, Lisa, and Kim; two brothers, Joe and Jim; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Walter.

In the short 63 years of life Bob had here on earth, he touched many lives. His genuine heart, beaming smile, contagious laugh and one-of-a-kind personality will continue to live on in the hearts of anyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. There is no more pain or suffering where you are now, only endless amounts of clouds to drum on.

With our hearts feeling heavy, we will lay you to rest and try finding some comfort in knowing that you have finally "gone to the place that's the best".

A memorial service for Bob will be held at a later date.
