Michelle Burton

Michelle Louise Burton, born June 21st, 1958, passed away peacefully May 16, 2024, at the age of 65, at St. Luke's Hospital in Duluth, MN.

Michelle grew up in Virginia, MN, and lived in Albuquerque, NM, Las Vegas, NV, and Los Angeles, California. She moved back to Virginia, MN, where she spent most of her life.

Michelle lived a full life and will be remembered for her love of her son Sherdell, Minnesota sports, Charlie Brown/Peanuts and her many memorable Charlie Brown tattoos. She loved her pets and purple petunias in the spring.

She is survived by her son, Sherdell Burton; siblings: Robin (Dan) Koponen, Melanie Burton (Mike Bauler), Jeff (Stacey) Burton; and many nieces and nephews. 

Michelle was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Burton; father, Russell Burton; and Grandparents.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 25th, 2024 at 11am at the Pike Town Hall.
