Michael W. Lawwell

Michael Wayne Lawwell, age 56, of Aurora, passed away Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at his residence.

Michael was born on June 8, 1967 to Michael and Jon (Aho) Lawwell in Los Angeles, California.

He worked at the Italian Bakery for many years. And then he started working as a bartender. He enjoyed antique shops, rummage sales, swimming in the pit, rock hunting, and hanging out with his friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Wayne Lawwell; and uncle, Eddie Lawwell.

He is survived by his mother, Jon Lawwell of Aurora; brother, Christopher Wayne (Melissa) Lawwell; nephews, Nicholas (Pear) Lawwell of Virginia, Alex (Rachel) Lawwell and their two children Mickeleo and Lucas Lawwell, Zach Lawwell; niece, Kaylie Lawwell; and grandmother, Mary Holzworth of Lancaster, California.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Michael at Riders Bar in Virginia, Minnesota on September 23, 2023 from 2 to 8 p.m.
