Mary "Marylou" (Warren) Sherman

Mary "Marylou" Sherman formerly of the Embarrass and Virginia areas, died October 22nd, 2025, at her residence. She was born July 20th, 1948, to William and Priscilla Warren. She grew up in the Crosby area and moved to Embarrass after 6th grade. Marylou spent her winters in Tucson, Arizona, with her grandparents.

Marylou worked at VRMC for 11 years as a housekeeper, and she worked with mentally/physically handicapped people. She loved to crochet, read, and spend time with her dogs. Marylou also liked to travel, and she enjoyed participating in and learning about Native American culture.

Marylou is preceded in death by her parents, William and Priscilla; her daughter, Yulanda; and brothers, Rod (Melody) DeCent, and Kenny Warren.

Marylou is survived by her daughter, Angela; grandchildren: Devon, Tanner, Jordan, and Dakotah; siblings: Robert (Vickie) Warren, Phyllis (Darald) Bogart, "Butch" William (Patty) Warren, Bruce (Melinda) Warren, Susan (Steve) Ferrel, Carmen Mayzsak, and George (Chris) DeCent; and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Marylou's life will be held at a later date.
