Mary Jane Bach, 80, of Virginia, passed away Monday, June 18, 2018 at Essentia Health Virginia. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at the Biwabik Pavilion from 12:00-3:00 pm. Family and friends are welcome to attend. Mary Jane Lydell Bach was born November 30, 1937 in Gilbert to Stephen and Elsie (Laine) Thomas. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking and baking. Every time someone walked in the door, she was doing one or the other.

Mary Jane enjoyed fishing. She loved spending time with her family and loved the family holidays.

The family would like to thank the staff at Essentia Health for their loving care.

She is survived by her children, Renee (Al) Jokinen; Nancy (Robert) Homola; Connie (Michael) Baland; Debra (Bruce) Stecker; Charles Bach; and Susan (Bach) Knudsen; 15 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; sisters, Geraldine Makela and Marlene Kovich; brother, Steven Thomas; and several nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by her parents; former husband of 32 years, Charles F. Bach; special friend of 19 years, Clifford Fortman; sister, Carol Siveny; and brother, James Thomas
