Marvin Gene Binkley

Marvin Gene Binkley, 65, of Nashwauk, passed away Sunday, August 26, 2018 with his family at his side, at Fairview Range Medical Center. Private services are planned. Burial will be held at the Togo-Carpenter Cemetery. Arrangements are with Range Funeral Home in Hibbing.

Marvin was born October 20, 1952 in Hibbing to Lawrence and Tracy (Marty) Binkley. He married Bonnie Anne Rauch in February 6, 1998 in Hibbing. Over the years, Marvin worked for Hanna Mining, Range Cornice Roofing, Tackle Tamer, Clusiau Logging, and Eagle Pipeline.

Marvin enjoyed fishing, hunting, woodworking, four wheeling, camping, bonfires, collecting antique tools, listening to Johnny Cash and other old-time country music, tinkering with cars, and spending time with his family, especially his grandson and special four-legged friend, Spike.

Marvin was always looking for new adventures and reckless fun. He had a heart of gold and would help anyone who needed him. Marvin was known for his sense of humor and mischief. He always valued the simple things in life. He was a jack-of-all trades who could somehow find a way to fix anything.

Marvin was preceded in death by his parents; mother-in-law, Connie Rauch; and sister, Debbie.

Beloved dog: Spike
