Martha Lois (Hagglund) Lindgren

Martha Lois Lindgren passed away on October 13, 2025, at her home in rural Virginia, Minnesota, where she was being cared for by her son, daughter, and Moments Hospice.

Martha was born on November 22, 1942, to Harry and Mayme Hagglund in Cook, Minnesota.

She was a graduate of Alango High School in 1960. Martha then attended Virginia Junior College.

She worked for J.C. Penny Company in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

In 1963, Martha married Arthur C. Lindgren. They resided on an 80-acre farm 10 miles north of Virginia, Minnesota.

Martha was a wonderful wife and mother. She was her husband's right hand "woman" to assist him with farming, logging, gardening, etc.

Martha had 3 children: Loren, Troy, and Heather. She had 5 grandchildren: Kody, Paul, Samantha, Ty, and Kirsten. So far, she had 1 great-grandchild, Baker. Martha is survived by her sister, Karen; and brothers, Karl and Ken Hagglund.

Martha was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur; her sisters, Carol Hagglund and Eileen O'Malley; and her parents, Harry and Mayme.

At Martha's request, there will be a private gathering of her immediate family to celebrate her life.

Her family would like to extend their gratitude to Moments Hospice for their incredible support in Martha's final weeks, especially Toni and Brook.
