Margaret E. (Fleming) Scinto

Margaret "Marge" E. Scinto, age 96, of Mt. Iron, died peacefully with her family by her side, at Cornerstone Villa in Buhl, Minnesota.

Margaret was born to Mary M. (Snidarich) and George D. Fleming on January 27, 1928, in Eveleth, MN. As a girl, Marge graduated from Eveleth High School. She later met and married George Scinto on January 29, 1948, in Eveleth. The couple made their home in Mt. Iron where they raised their family.

Marge is survived by two sons, Joseph (Harriet) Scinto and Roger Scinto all of Mt. Iron; two grandchildren, Tara Jo (Jeremy) LaMourea and Joseph R. Scinto; two great grandchildren, Tyler LaMourea and Dylan Scinto Anderson of Mt. Iron; two sisters, Elizabeth Jackson of Aitkin, MN, and Kathleen Venne of Bertram, TX; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Margaret is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Joe and Emma Scinto; sister, Mary Ann Petersen; brothers-in-law, Doc Venne and Bob Petersen; and her best friend, Barb Albrecht.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. on Thursday, October 17, 2024, at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Virginia, with visitation starting at 10 a.m. at the church. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Virginia.
