Margaret Joan (Misialek) Langowski, age 91, of Hoyt Lakes, Minn., passed away peacefully on January 12, 2026, at home with her family beside her.
She was born on November 20, 1934, in Drayton, ND, to Edward Stanislaus Misialek and Margaret Genevieve O’Sullivan.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Langowski Sr.; her sons, Harold Langowski Jr. and David Langowski; and daughter-in-law, Donna Langowski.
She is survived by her children: Mary (Bill) Stodola, LinDa (Bob) Grams, Patti (Rich) Fenda, Carl Langowski, Tim (Debbie) Langowski, Martha (Larry) Godwin, Jim (Char) Langowski, Carrie (Ronan) Dillard; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren (known by them as Grandma Lango).
She loved to take care of her family. She was the best cook and baker in the world. Known for her fresh baked bread and cinnamon rolls. She was creative and loved to knit, crochet, embroider, and garden. Many were blessed with her pot holders, slippers, and embroidered dish towels. She was blessed with a green thumb and grew the most beautiful, full of flavor vegetables and even at times delicious fruit. Always looking for ways to bring a smile to her neighbors, especially the children with giving them a treat.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, January 16, 2026. Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m. and the service will begin at 11:00 a.m. at the Range Funeral Home, 911 16th Street North, Virginia, Minn., 55792. Deacon Richard Moravitz will be officiating.
