Lorraine Norma Dummer

Lorraine N. Dummer, 93, of Virginia, passed away Sunday, August 26, 2018 at Essentia Health Virginia Care Center. A memorial service will be held Thursday, August 30, 2018 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Virginia at 11:00 am with visitation one-hour prior. Pastor Erik Roth will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the American Stroke Association. Arrangements are with Range Funeral Home in Virginia. Lorraine Norma Mattsfield Dummer was born May 26, 1925 in Meeker County to Louis and Bertha (Bluemke) Mattsfield. On September 18, 1948, she was united in marriage to Edmund E. Dummer in Hutchinson, MN. In 1955, they made their home in Virginia. Lorraine worked at Westwind Orchards for over 20 years.

Lorraine was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and quilting.

She is survived by her children, Robert (Diane) Dummer of Tempe, AZ and Lori (Ken) Bryan of Stevensville, MT; sister, Joyce (Floyd) Ness of St. Louis Park, MN.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Bertha; husband, Edmund; and 9 brothers and sisters.
