Linda D. Rioux

Linda D. Rioux, 64, of Iron, passed away Thursday, April 26, 2018 at Essentia Health St. Mary's in Duluth. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at Messiah Lutheran Church at 11:00 am with visitation one-hour prior. Pastor Joyce Piper will officiate. Linda was born February 14, 1954 in Buffalo, MN to Florian and Dorothy Lindner. Linda met Van Rioux in Hopkins and moved to the Range. They were united in marriage on April 26, 1991 and made their home in Iron, MN.

Linda enjoyed outdoor activities, loved crocheting, and doing puzzle books in her spare time until her arthritis made her stop. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and putzing with her rose bushes.

She is survived by:

Sons: Chris Anderson, Colin (Mandy) Petterson, and Shaun (Kelly) Rioux
Mother: Dorothy Lindner
Sisters: Barb Zupan and Donna (Larry) Hadsel
Grandchildren: Joseph (Arielle) Petterson, Maxine Lauseng, and Sylvia Rioux
Great Grandchildren: Kinsley Petterson and Hadley Mickle
Her trusty buddy, Shadow

She was preceded in death by her father, Florian; son, Les; and father-in-law, John
