Lester Hallfors Obituary

Lester D. Hallfors, 90, of Virginia, died Sunday, April 9, 2023.

Lester was born on June 2, 1932, in Makinen, MN, to John and Esther Perala Hallfors. He was united in marriage to Delphi L. Lorentzson on June 7, 1952, in Cotton.

Lester worked in the mines for many years, first as a mechanic and then as a maintenance planner at EVTAC in Eveleth.

He is survived by his sister, Helen Budisalovich, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Lester was preceded in death by his wife, Delphi; siblings, Lorraine, Esther, Melvin, Jean, and Arlene; half-sister, Martha Kuukari; and his parents.

Burial will be in Cotton Cemetery.
