Joyce Ellen (Alden) Hanson

Joyce Ellen (Alden) Hanson passed away Friday, February 28, 2025 at her home surrounded by her children.

Joyce was born in Chisholm, MN to Alva and Addie Alden. She attended Chisholm High School and was married to Harold (Harpo) Hanson on July 22, 1950.

Joyce is survived by her daughters, Lynn (Steve Ditty) Weir and LeeAnn (Rodney) Stone; sons, Howie (Denise) Hanson and Tom (Paula) Hanson; 14 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; and sister, Marilyn Krueger.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harpo; her son, Harold (Rusty) Hanson; brothers: Neil Alden, Glen Alden, Howard Alden; and sister, Jeanette Paskvan.

There will be a private memorial service.
