Jon T Lund

Jon T Lund, age 50, died October 22nd, 2025, at his residence in Hibbing, Minnesota. Jon was born in Hibbing, Minnesota to LeRoy and Mary Ann Lund on October 20th, 1975.

Jon was raised in Hibbing, where he attended Washington Elementary, Hibbing High School, Hibbing Community College, and Saint Cloud State University. He grew up attending Our Savior's Lutheran Church, and as an adult was a Free Christian. Jon was an avid bible reader over the years and was always praying.

Jon was a member of the Chisholm Sportsmen's Club, and The Shifters Car Club.  He loved working on his computer, fixing them for others, exploring and creating art, and most of all, his '57 Plymouth which he took to car shows and on cruises.

Jon was preceded in death by his father LeRoy Lund; mother Mary Ann Lund; paternal grandparents Fred and Gladys Lund; and maternal grandparents Raymond and Ann Calligan.

Jon is survived by his sister Jen (Jeff) Illies; nieces Lauren, Megan, Kenzie, and Jordyn; and his cousins on the Tuin, Burton, Peterson, and Calligan sides of the family.

A small celebration of life will be held in June 2026.
