Jon M. Heikkila

Jon Michael Heikkila, 64, of Eveleth, and formerly of Florenton, passed away on Monday, April 3, 2023.

He was born in Virginia, MN, on October 16, 1958 to Albert and Lola (Stauty) Heikkila. Jon was a graduate of Virginia High School, class of 1976. He attended St. Cloud State University.

Jon was an accountant with Heikkila Tax Service, as well as a security guard. He most recently worked for Hard Drive and KGM construction companies.

Jon leaves behind his brother, Charles Heikkila of Eveleth; step-son, Jamie Schumacher of Cherry; step-daughter, Melody (Joel) Hoofard of Pasadena, TX; and their mother, Celia Heikkila of Hibbing; grandson, Isaac Schumacher; niece, Tiffany Weiss and her children; and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Ted and Terry.

A celebration of life will be held at Range Funeral Home in Virginia on April 20, 2023 beginning at 10:00 am.
