JoAnn Kathleen (Flannigan) Holweger

JoAnn Kathleen Holweger, age 61, passed away peacefully in her home on January 21st, 2025.

JoAnn was born on February 19th, 1963, in Virginia, Minnesota, to Harry and June Flannigan.

JoAnn married the love of her life, Rodney Holweger, on June 25th, 1982, and were blessed with five children: Jessica, Nicole, Thomas, Timothy, and Richard.

JoAnn was a postal worker on and off for 15 years. She had recently retired in December 2023, and spent all her free time with her grandchildren. She was a REALLY great storyteller, she loved to read, and was a hard worker.

JoAnn is survived by her children: Jessica (Dan) Thompson, Nicole Holweger (Joel Rent), Thomas (Autumn) Holweger, Timothy (Alex) Holweger, and Richard Holweger; her 10 grandkids: Avary, Arrow, Gretchen, Sullivan, Rosalie, Wyatt, Etta, Hattie, Jackson, and Charlie; and all her honorary children.

She was preceded in death by parents, Harry and June Flannigan; brother, Tim Flannigan; and husband, Rodney Holweger.

A celebration of life will be held for JoAnn on Saturday, February 8th, 2025, from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Wuori Town Hall (7449 Werner Road Virginia, Minnesota 55792).
