Jeanne Arloa Moore

Jeanne "Deanne" Moore passed away Thursday, August 3, 2017 at Edgewood Vista in Virginia. A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 7, 2017 at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Virginia at 1:00 pm with visitation one hour prior. Pastor John Cowan will officiate. Burial will take place at Greenwood Cemetery. Arrangements are with Range Funeral Home in Virginia.

Jeanne "Deanne" Moore was born on February 20, 1932 in Chisholm, MN to Roy and Elvira Anderson. She graduated from the Roosevelt High School in Virginia with the class of 1949. She was united in marriage to Bob Moore on December 27, 1952 in Virginia.

Jeanne worked as a secretary in various jobs for many years. She was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Virginia and served on various boards in the church. She played the piano and organ for church functions.

She is survived by her son, Glenn (Kristen) of Eveleth; daughter, Donna (Paul) Scholtus of Minneapolis; sister-in-law, Barbara Wood and son, Timothy of Cumming, Georgia; grandchildren, Chloe and Justin Scholtus of Minneapolis and Christian and Mia Moore of Eveleth.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Waldon; son, Dale in 1994; and her husband, Bob in 2004.
