Janet Marie Rhein

Janet M. Rhein, of Ely, passed away Friday, April 6, 2018 at Essentia Health in Virginia. A memorial service will be held Friday, June 1, 2018 at Range Funeral Home at 10:00 am with visitation one-hour prior. Deacon Dan Schultz will officiate. Janet Marie Rhein was born to Anton and Katherine Kramar. She graduated from Ely High School. On July 14, 1956, she was united in marriage to George Rhein. The couple made their home in Ely, raising their three children, Sandy, Dave and Mike.

Janet enjoyed being outdoors, camping, fishing, gardening, berry and mushroom picking and spending time with her grandkids, Katie, April, Triston, Isabelle, Eric, Tyler, and her grand dogs.

She is survived by:

Daughter: Sandy (Paul) Venne
Grandchildren: Triston, April (Leo), Katie, Eric (Sara), and Tyler (Joselyn)
Great Granddaughter: Isabell
Sisters: Francis and Norma Kramar
Brother-in-law: Allen (Betty) Rhein
Several nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George, Jr., brothers, Anton and Ed Kramar; sisters, Helen Kramar and Katherine Kuznik; in-laws, Alice and George Rhein
