Herbert Erick Kruegel

Herbert Erick Kruegel, 82, of Hibbing, passed away Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Heritage Manor in Chisholm. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, October 6, 2017 at First Lutheran Church in Hibbing at 11:00 a.m. with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Pastor Ben Schori will officiate. Arrangements are with Range Funeral Home in Hibbing.

Herbert was born September 24, 1934 in Berlin, Germany. He came to the United States in 1955 and began to work constructing pianos. Herbert was united in marriage to Joan Greiner on February 24, 1984. He was an avid musician and worked for Steinway and Son’s Piano Company for many years. He was a handyman, loved his motorcycle, playing in the band, Riocombo, for 35 years and doing woodwork.
