Harold “Harpo” Hanson

Harold "Harpo" Hanson, 88, of Hibbing, passed away Monday, November 27, 2017 at his home. Per Harpo’s request, there will be a private family memorial service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hibbing Fairview Hospice. Arrangements are with Range Funeral Home in Hibbing.

Harold was born December 2, 1928 in Hibbing to Albert and Vera (Blomquist) Hanson. He graduated in 1946 from Hibbing High School. Harold was united in marriage to Joyce Ellen Alden on July 22, 1950 in Chisholm. He retired in 1993 from B. Miller Products. He played softball many years for Cook Roofing and coached Little League and Sr. Little League for over 20 years. He enjoyed fishing with his family and was an avid sports fan. Harold was a gentle, kind, humble man devoted to his wife and family.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Vera Hanson; and his son, Harold "Rusty" Hanson.

Tom (Paula) Hanson of Shafer, MN
