Gregory "Greg" D. Salo

Gregory "Greg" D. Salo passed away peacefully surrounded by family on October 17, 2024.

Greg was born on April 8, 1959 in Virginia, Minnesota. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. In the summers he couldn't wait to go to the cabin or go camping. In the fall he couldn't wait to get to the hunting shack to go hunting. He shared his love for the outdoors with his daughters and granddaughter.

Greg was a delivery driver. Over the years he delivered and sold everything from beer to bread. He always knew how to make a new friend, and made many friends along his delivery routes. He was a good friend and always tried to help where he could.

Greg was preceded in death by his parents, Edmond "Ed" and Dorothy (Kelm) Salo; along with his brother, David Salo.

Greg is survived by his daughters, Bonnie Salo and Jessica Salo; his granddaughter, Desarea Mattson; sister, Karen (Jim) Witkowski; nieces and nephews; aunts and uncles; cousins; and his beloved canine sidekick, Bently.

There will be a celebration of life for Greg on Saturday, November 30, 2024 at the McDavitt Town Hall from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
