George T. Anderson was born March 14, 1958 in Virginia to George and Helga (Jarvi) Anderson. He graduated from Mountain Iron High School in 1976. George worked for McGregor's House Movers for 10 years and also at Vidmar Iron Works for 3 years.

George enjoyed watching sports, especially the Oakland Raiders and playing in bar league softball. He also enjoyed hunting grouse and deer and loved spending time with family and friends. He was very proud of his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by:

Daughter: Brittany (Matthew Heaton) Anderson of Eveleth

Son: Justin (Lindsey) Anderson of Lake Vermilion

Grandchildren: Ayden, Connor, and Alena

Former wife and mother of his children, Carol Carlson of Eveleth

He was preceded in death by his parents
