Gayle Herth Obituary

Gayle M. Herth passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2017 from complications from surgery. There will be a memorial service for Gayle sometime in the future. Arrangements are with Range Funeral Home in Hibbing.
Gayle was born in Seattle, WA on March 1, 1949, the oldest of 9 children. She attended Stephens College in Columbia, MO, receiving an AA degree in biology, and pursued a career in cytotechnology. She worked in that field for a few years when she resided in Portland, OR. Then she moved to Des Moines, IA and became employed by USWest. She eventually was transferred to Glendale, AZ and retired from USWest. Gayle married David Herth in 2004. She has lived Hibbing since 2014 and resided at the Lee Center.
Gayle enjoyed cooking, adult coloring, reading, traveling, and her bible studies. She was an avid sports fan and loved the Chicago Cubs, AZ Diamondbacks, and Iowa Hawkeyes.
Gayle always had a kind word to say. She always thought that there was good to be found in everyone. A kinder heart has never been known.
She is preceded in death by her father, CW Sanner; husband, Dave, and sister, Helen.
Gayle is survived by her mother, Gerry; brothers Charlie (Judy), Steve (Nyla), Bob (Susan) and Kelly; sisters, Linda Perpich, Nancy Sanner, and Mary Lou (Tom) Allen, several nieces and nephews, and a great nephew.
