Dennis "Denny" Serson, owner of Range Landscape and Carden Center, passed away on January 28th, 2026. He was born on December 29th, 1940 to Michael "Mickie" and Elizabeth "Billie" Serson. He was baptized and made his first Communion at the old catholic church St. John the Baptist in Virginia. He is a member of the Holy Spirit Church in Virginia.
Denny's dad "Mickie" started selling flowers and fruit from their backyard in 1950. Mickie expanded to northside. After many years working alongside of dad, Denny bought Range Landscape & Garden Center due to his parents declining health.
Denny married Beverly (Bergstrand, Johnson) and they had their daughter Elizabeth (Phillip) Brenden and granddaughter Emma Brenden, bonus children Kim, David (Kitty), James & grandson Tyler (Chelsea), Paul & grandson Kyle (Jessica) Johnsons, His sister Sally (Michael) Ribarczek, Arizona, 3 nephews, 3 nieces.
Dennis was a dedicated business man and proud of all his accomplishments, which were many. Numerous homes, cabins, buildings, streets, highways, and landscaping. His landscaping of Duluth's DECC that made it to the cover of the Duluth Telephone book & his last landscaping
of the new highwasy #53 between Virginia & Eveleth and the new Saint Louis City building in Virginia.
Dennis is preceeded in death by his parents, sisters Veryle (Robert) Fuchs of Michigan, Billie Jean Serson of Arizona.
