Dennis Allen Jensrud

Dennis, A. Jensrud, 64, died from Luekemia July 14, 2018 at St. Luke's Hospital in Duluth, MN. A celebration of life will be held at 6:00 PM, Thursday July 19, at Range Funeral Home in Virginia, 911 16th St. N, Virginia, MN 55792. Arrangements are with Range Funeral Home in Virginia. He was born on May 1, 1954 in Bethesda, MD, the son of Simon and Kay (Drieman) Jensrud. Dennis graduated from Virginia High School in 1972. Following graduation, he worked in California at Kaiser Steel and then moved to Minnesota to work at U.S. Steel for 39 years. He married his high school sweetheart Sherry Gentilini, and lived in Britt, MN. They celebrated a happy 31 years of marriage together. He was a master mason at the Masonic Temple in the Iron Range area.

He loved to hunt, garden and spend time with his family and close friends at his shack on the Echo Trail. He cherished his golden retrievers who were his loyal companions.

He is survived by his wife, Sherry, sons, Allen and Tyler. In addition, parents, Kay and Si, sisters, Qetler and Julie and brother, Scott, and many nieces and nephews.
