Dennis E. Imberg

Dennis Eugene Imberg, age 77, of Tower, MN, passed away on December 14, 2023 in Virginia, MN after a courageous 8-year battle with cancer.

Dennis was born on September 16, 1946 to Philip and Laila Imberg in Virginia, MN. After completing college, Dennis was a high school teacher and football coach in Farmington, MN.

When he retired he moved back up north, which he always considered home. He enjoyed watching sports, telling stories, taking road trips with his wife, having a drink with friends, spending time on the water, and traveling the Caribbean.
 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Philip Imberg and Laila (Imberg) Lindquist and step father Larry Lindquist.

He is survived by his wife Bonnie of 56 years; daughters, Heather Imberg and Tani (Jim) Reilly; grandchildren: Jared, Austin, Kiera, Teagan; sister, Patricia (Joe) Kovich; and nephews, Jay and Troy; as well as numerous family members and friends.

Visitation will be held at 10am, followed by an 11am celebration of life at the Range Funeral Home in Virginia, MN on January 13, 2024. Private inurnment immediately following the service at Lakeside Cemetery, Biwabik, MN.
