Darold Brackett Paine

Darold Brackett Paine, age 91, of Mt. Iron, MN, passed away peacefully on April 10, 2024 with his family by his side at the Virginia Care Center.

He was born on March 17, 1933 in Puposky, MN to Brackett and Florence (Gay) Paine.

Survived by his son, Darold Alan (Edie), of Mt. Iron; daughter, Penny Aultman of Hibbing; son, Rick (Sherri) of Chisholm; daughter, Linda Abbett (Bill) of Hibbing; daughter, Nancy Marks (Chris) of Lino Lakes. Many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great granddaughters; brothers, Charles (Carol) and Benjamin, both of Makinen. Along with many nieces and nephews.

Darold was preceded in death by his parents, Brackett and Florence (Gay) Paine; wife, Wanda; identical twin, Donald; brother, Robert; sister, Dorothy Puttbrese; son-in-law, Pastor Marvin Aultman.

Honor Guard Salute is planned for Saturday, April 27, 2024 at 12:45 P.M. with a Celebration of Life to follow from 1:00 to 4:00 P.M. at the Gilbert VFW. Burial will take place on a later date at the Forbes Cemetery.
