Darin Alto

Darin Allan Alto, 53, of Virginia, MN passed away on May 26, at St Mary Hospital Duluth, MN, surrounded by his family. He was born Sep, 12, 1969, in Virginia, MN to Roger and Katherine Alto.

Darin was a proud graduate of Virginia High School's Class of 1988. He was always known to make lasting friendships everywhere he went. Darin loved being in the outdoors whether it be at the lake, fishing, or hunting. His heart was happiest when surrounded by nature.

Darin always had a passion to help others and gave of his time in his younger years through the Range Jaycees, and most recently the Virginia Elks Club. Although Darin had numerous jobs over the years, his work passion has always been Real Estate. Having been a Realtor for roughly 30 years, he loved seeing people's dream homes come true. Most recently Darin worked at Delta Air Lines and deeply embraced the love and support of his Delta Family.

Darin is survived by his wife Christine; his children: Kayla Alto, Ashley Sarazine, Andrew Alto, Michael Alto, and Thomas Alto. His grandchildren, whom he loved being Papa to, Kaleb, Elijah, Carter, and Savannah. Sister, Mary Kay (Gary) Hamilton and Brother, Brian (Andrea) Alto. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and family he held very dear to his heart.

Darin was preceded in death by his parents, Roger and Katherine Alto; sister, Stacy Alto; daughter, Amanda Carlson: and several close family and friends.

Services and Celebration of Life will be held at the Virginia Elks Club 220 N 5th Ave W, Virginia, MN on Thursday, June 8, 2023 at 1 p.m. with visitation one hour prior. Funeral arrangements being handled by Range Funeral Home, Virginia, MN.
