Dan Alvin Reed, age 71, of Virginia, passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at his residence.

He was born on July 28, 1954, to Robert and Ruth Reed. Dan spent his entire life living in Pike Township.

Dan worked his entire career in Auto Body, working for Len's Body in Virginia, Minnesota. He loved working on cars and trucks at his home garage.

Dan was united in marriage to Sue on September 25, 2004. They spent their days together at their home in Pike Township.

Dan enjoyed puttsing on things in his garage.

Dan is survived by his wife, Susan Reed; 2 sons, Chuck Kaufman, and Nick Reed; 2 step-sons, Jeremy (Angie) Cook, and Josh Cook; 2 brothers, Stan (Roxanne) Reed of St. Paul, MN, and Dale (Darcey) Reed of Esko, MN; sister, Pam (Chris) Kotys of Virginia, MN; and numerous grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Ruth Reed; sister, Susan Malenius; and brother, Dennis Reed.

A celebration of Dan's life will be held at the Pike Town Hall (Address: 6862 Co Hwy 68, Embarrass, MN 55732) on Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
