Dale Elmo Owens Sr.

Dale Elmo Owens Sr., age 92, longtime resident of Angora, passed away Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at Essentia Health St. Mary's Hospital in Duluth.

A funeral service for Dale will be 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 5, 2025, at the Range Funeral Home Chapel in Virginia, with visitation one hour prior at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at the Alango Cemetery in Angora Township. Richard Owens will be officiating.

Dale is survived by his wife, Sharon; children: Richard (Ginny) Owens, Trixie (Steve) Schultz, Donald (Wanda) Owens, Mike (Angie) Owens, stepdaughter, Chrissie (Derek) Peterson; grandchildren, Dale, Krisi, Rob, Jeremy, Brian, Brent, Jake, Amanda, Tiffany, Jessica, Sarah, Bradley, Meagan, Maria; step-grandchildren, Chris and Abbi; along with many great-grandchildren and many friends.

Dale was preceded in death by his son, Dale Owens Jr.; and his daughter, Becky Ann Cheney.
