Corey Patrick Snidarich

It's with heavy hearts we announce Corey Patrick Snidarich, age 53, of Virginia, died from complications of many years of heart disease on Thursday, October 5, 2023 at Essentia St. Mary's Hospital in Duluth.

He was born in Virginia, Minn. on September 27, 1970 to Stanley and Linda Dargan Snidarich. He graduated from the Mt. Iron Buhl High School in 1990. Then he went to Hibbing Vo-Tech for the Culinary Arts Program. He loved to cook and bake. He was a "foodie" and loved to experiment. He made many kinds of doughnuts and baked goods at the Italian Bakery, and got to deliver them. He worked at Lucky Seven Sporting Goods. He was a gunsmith and loved cleaning and repairing guns. His last job before he got real sick was at Champion Auto. Corey wasn't a mechanic but he loved car parts and diagnosing problems. In his spare time he listened to music, played drums, and raced radio controlled trucks. He liked to cook meals for his mom, sister Kelly, and friends. He had many longtime friendships.

Corey was preceded in death by his father Stanley; Grandparents Maurice and Dorothy Dargan and Joseph and Louise Snidarich.

He is survived by his mother Linda; sister Kelly; many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He had a special relationship with his Aunty Kathy. He will truly be missed by his mother who greatly appreciated all the love and care that he gave.

We'd like to thank all the doctors and nurses from St Lukes and Essentia St Mary's for the care they gave him.

A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at 1 p.m. at Range Funeral Home in Virginia. Family and friends are welcome to gather to share and remember stories about Corey. Coffee an' will be held immediately after in the Range Funeral Home Fellowship Hall.
