Cheryl Ann (Tupa) Langie

Cheryl Langie, 59, of Hibbing, gained her angel wings on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at St. Mary's Hospital in Duluth.

Cheryl was born on January 17, 1964 to Loretta and Richard Tupa in Maryland. Cheryl was a loving daughter, mother, grandma “Baba”, mother-in-law, and friend. Cheryl loved spending time with family, especially her little Emmy. Cheryl had an infectious laugh and great sense of humor. She will be missed by many people.

Cheryl is survived by her mother, Loretta; her sister, Cindy (Gregg) Mihelich; brother, Jeff Tupa; her son, Joseph Tupa (Ashleigh Hakala), daughter, Ashley Langie (James Gubler) all from Hibbing; step-sons, James (Bridget Ortlieb), Levi (Alexandria) Langie both of Nebraska; step-daughter, Renee (Shannon) Moon of Iowa; grandchildren: Emery Langie, Karsen Hakala, and Ryker Langie, and her loving PCA, Becky Carlson.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her husband, Lance Langie; father, Richard Tupa; uncle, Roger Moe; and her mother and father-in-law.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, January 27, 2024 at the Hibbing Senior Tourist Center, 1202 E Howard Street, at 1:00 pm with a luncheon to follow.
