Casey Dean Martin

Casey Dean Martin, 24, of Virginia, passed away unexpectedly, Monday, October 1, 2018 at his residence. Visitation will begin Thursday, October 4, 2018 at Range Funeral Home from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 5, 2018 at Pike Apostolic Lutheran Church in Pike Twp. At 1:00 pm with visitation one hour prior. Pastor Donald Salo and Jon Salo will co-officiate. Burial will take place at Vermilion Lake Twp. Cemetery. Arrangements are with Range Funeral Home in Virginia. As a child, Casey desired the love of his family and friends. He valued togetherness. In school, he excelled in arts and phy-ed. Baseball and hockey were his favorite sports. Casey's heart for family followed him into his teens and young adult life. His sons, Liam and Robert were the loves of his life.

His free time was spent at the gym with his brothers, on the slopes, snowboarding with is dad, heart to hearts with his mom and sister, and raising hell on the streets with his friends. He touched the lives of many. Casey will always be with us in spirit.

Casey is survived by his mother, Lisa Neari; step-father, Paul Neari; father, Willy Martin; sons, Liam and Robert and their mother, Kylee Gill; siblings, Ashley Riihiluoma, Seth (Valerie) Riihiluoma, Tracy Martin, Josey (Derek) Erickson, Jesse (Mykell) Martin, Wyatt Martin, Jake Neari, and Brooke Neari; grandparents, Joann Martin, Kay Salo, and Lydia Nygaard; numerous nieces, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandpas, Billy Martin and Casey Salo; sister, Josie Raylynn; uncle, Randy Salo; and aunt, Marlene Martin
