Cameron Robert Gregorich

Cameron Robert Gregorich, 32, passed away at home in Eveleth, on July 27, 2024, due to rare lifelong health conditions.

He was born March 22, 1992 in Duluth, MN to Robert J. and Terri (Kuopus) Gregorich.

Cameron grew up in the Makinen area and went to school in Virginia. He graduated from East Range Academy of Technology and Science in 2010. He had a lifelong thirst for learning, especially World War II and History of any kind. Cameron went on to college at Mesabi Range College, UMD and Lake Superior College earning different degrees. He bought a home in the Gary New Duluth area, and worked various jobs in Duluth and Superior. Cameron had to sell his home and move back with his parents, due to his declining health. He enjoyed watching movies, especially Marvel and DC, playing video games online with his friends and family, and playing board games and card games.

Cameron was preceded in death by his brother, Philip Howard Gregorich in 1989; great-grandparents: Ann (Perhai) Gregorich in 1996 and Philip Gregorich in 1999; grandparents: Ellen Jane (Parkkonen) Kuopus in 2009, Howard H. Kuopus in 2019 and Wilma J. (Harriman) Gregorich in 2023; cousin, Dustin Giersdorf in 2023; and other aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Cameron is survived by his parents; his grandfather, Robert P. Gregorich of Eveleth; special grandmother, Marlene Duncan of Florida; aunts and uncles: Glen (Maritza) Kuopus of Texas, Cindy Riley and Arnold Riley of Blaine and Christy (Tom) Benkusky of Buhl. Cousins: Sonya (Dan) Kou, Philip and Katherine; Sharayah (AJ) Benson and Elizabeth; Nate Giersdorf; Khrystyn (Isaac) Pulscher; Stefan (Carly) Giersdorf, Cecelia and Nora; Kyle Riley; Vincent, Alex and Luis Benkusky; and Katelyn Kuopus. A very special friend and godfather, David Saukko, whom he called “Uncle Dave”. His close friends Chris, Mike, Ron and Travis; and also aunts, and many more cousins.

In honor of Cameron, the family would like you to join them for a Celebration of Life on Saturday, September 28th, 2024, from 12 to 4 pm, at Timbers Edge, 7672 Wilson Road, Eveleth, MN 55734.
