Betty A. Rolf

Betty Rolf (Petterson) passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 5th, 2023 at the age of 86. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and grandmother.

Born in Gonvick, MN, Betty was the daughter of Alice and Alfred Petterson.

In 1956 she met and married her husband of 67 years, Byron Rolf. She was a loving family woman with a passion for cooking and traveling. She loved a good game of cards. Betty also enjoyed flower gardening. She was very knowledgeable about trees, ferns wild plants etc., and all things nature. Together, they raised a beautiful family with three sons and one daughter.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Cindy, son Daniel, her parents Alfred and Alice, her father and mother-in-law Ernest and Ella, sisters Phyllis and Vi, brother-in-laws Merle, Sunny, and Morris.

She is survived by her husband, son Michael(Lezlie), son Brad(Vickie), son-in-law Steve, nine grandchildren, and seventeen great-grandchildren. In addition to many beloved friends, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Services will be held at Range Funeral Home in Virginia, MN on Saturday, October 14th, 2023 at 11am, with visitation one hour prior. Burial to follow at North Sandy Cemetery. A luncheon will be held after the burial in the Range Funeral Home Fellowship Hall. Please join us.
