Audrey Jean Daniels

Audrey Jean Daniels, 77 years young, of Aurora, MN… passed away peacefully with her family at her side on November 15, 2017. Memorial services will be held Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at the Range Funeral Home, 911 16th St. N. Virginia at 11:00am. Pastor Brad Felix will officiate. Celebration of Life to follow the services at the same location at 12pm - 3pm. Coffee and treats will be served. Arrangements are with Range Funeral Home in Virginia.

Audrey was born on Sept. 13, 1940, in Cherry, Minnesota. She graduated from Cherry High School and continued her education in the Optometry field. She made glasses, was a prison Guard at Arizona Prison, and worked at the Eveleth Mines. She played a major role in changing sexual harassment laws. Audrey helped formulate "Raising Our Children's Kids" (ROCK) group. She was an "Extra" in several different movies and mentioned in 3 Books.

Audrey enjoyed fishing, dice games, pool, cards, wildlife, being outdoors and spending time with her family.

The love for her family was unconditional.

Audrey is survived by her children, Kim Chapple (Dolan), Roy Girard (Dee), Jim Girard (Shannon), Brenda Mahaffey, Bryan Daniels (Marissa), Ashley Daniels, and her fur baby Boomer. Grand children, Melissa Mortimer and Herb Thesing III. Great Grandchildren, Kimberlee Thesing, Samn'Tha Mortimer, Aria Moore, Aleric Moore, Kadyn Ringler, Arabella Ringler, and Alexander Ringler. Brothers, Robert Thomas (Carol), Smokie Thomas (Dianne), and Dean Lesar (Linda). Many Nieces, Nephews, longtime friends and other children in her life, Anthony, D.J. and Rylee.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph Thomas and Beatrice Lesar.
