Arthur C. Lindgren

Arthur C. Lindgren passed away on August 31, 2024. He was 83 years old.

He attended grade school (1-6) at Pike School #14. He then went on to attend the Embarrass High School #70 (7-12); graduating in May of 1959.

Arthur was a proud member of the Embarrass Flying Finn track team.

He worked for the U.S. Forest Service from 1959 until his retirement in 1996.

Arthur was united in marriage to Martha Hagglund on November 30, 1963. Arthur served as Martha's caregiver from the day he retired until the day he died.

The couple are survived by their three children: Loren, Troy, and Heather; five grandchildren: Kody, Paul, Ty, Samantha, and Kirsten; and one great-grandchild, Baker Loren Lindgren.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Selma; father, Charles; sisters, Ann and Darlene; half sister, Margaret Church; and brother, Robert.

Arthur's family is having a Celebration of Life at the Range Funeral Home in Virginia on Saturday, September 21, 2024 with the visitation starting at 1:00 p.m. and the Celebration starting at 2:00 p.m. A coffee an' will be held after the Celebration. All are welcome to attend.
